I left a pot of lentil carrot soup on the stove to cool, remembered it was there 10 hours later, still good?

I smelled it and it smells alright.  I would just dump it out but it was a huge pot of soup I was planning on eating for a while.  I had one bowl of it and a couple beers then went to bed and forgot it on the stove until the next day.  Stuck my nose in there and smelled it and there is not bad odour.  I'm torn here it was really tasty soup and I only had one bowl of it.

Should I chuck it? or freeze it?

This is by no means a scientific answer, and you need to take into account how warm the room was. If it was dessert heat then I might be skeptical. One thing you could do to be safe is heat the soup up to bowling again. To compensate for loss of moisture you could add just a little more stock to keep it at the same consistency.

Yeah I'm in Toronto.  I think the soup is alright, its has not been too warm though my apartment can get a little hot.  Thanks for the answers there.
